Major initiatives: results achieved |
During the reporting period, the Board established an Inclusion Committee to promote the values and practices of a diverse and inclusive workplace. Employees completed GBA+ training in order to enhance the responsiveness, effectiveness and outcomes of Board initiatives. The Board also participated in the Veterans Affairs Canada GBA+ network which has the goal of raising awareness and disseminating tools and best practices. As more work is done on GBA+ within VRAB, the level of analysis and monitoring will become more robust to ensure that gender and diversity are considered within its program, policies and in its delivery. |
