On November 11th, we pause to remember. It may be because of a family connection, a love of military history, or a sense of duty as a proud Canadian. Whatever your reason, on Remembrance Day, please join us with our fellow Canadians across the country to honour those who served, and continue to serve, to protect our freedoms.
2019 marks the 75th anniversary of Canada’s participation in the Italian Campaign which was an important step in the liberation of Europe. It has been many decades since the Second World War and the Italian Campaign but millions of Canadians have benefited from the selfless efforts and sacrifices of Canada’s Veterans, past and present.
Through our work each day at the Veterans Review and Appeal Board, we are reminded daily of the service and sacrifice of Canada’s Veterans, Canadian Armed Forces and Royal Canadian Mounted Police members, and their families. It is an honour to serve these individuals and we take great pride in the role we have to support them.
Lest we forget.
