Veterans' Week Message - 2013

Every year, from November 5 to 11, Canadians marks Veterans' Week by paying tribute to our nation's Veterans. It is a time to recognize and remember the sacrifices made by the men and women who have served their country so selflessly.

At the Veterans Review and Appeal Board, we have the privilege of serving these individuals year round—and we are dedicated to providing them with the best possible service. During the past year, we have listened to feedback and made changes to improve our hearing program. We also revised our Vision, Mission and Values statements to more clearly guide us going forward in supporting Veterans' right to appeal and be heard in their efforts to obtain benefits for service-related disabilities.

On behalf of the Board, I would like to express our strong commitment and sincere gratitude to Canada's Veterans—and to the families who support them.
